DESCRIPTION:\n	The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) is host
	ing its second virtual symposium showcasing the latest research conducted 
	within the NIHR School for Public Health Research Public Mental Health (PM
	H) Programme.\n\n\n\n	At the symposium\, you will be able to:\n\n\n\n	\n		
	hear updates on the latest research from across the PMH programme\,\n	\n	\
	n		provide comments and feedback on the findings\,\n	\n	\n		ask academic a
	nd peer researchers questions about public mental health research\,\n	\n	\
	n		improve your own knowledge of public mental health research\,\n	\n	\n		
	build connections with others interested in public mental health.\n	\n\n\n
	\n	Audience\n\n\n\n	This event is free to attend and open to anyone intere
	sted in public mental health\, including members of the Public Mental Heal
	th (PMH) Network.\n\n\n\n	Programme\n\n\n\n	This is a one-day event with m
	orning and afternoon sessions that need to be booked separately.\n\n\n\n	M
	orning session: 10.00am – 12.30pm\n\n\n\n	This session will showcase the
	 work from Phase 2 of the Public Mental Health Programme\, which has been 
	focused on evaluating promising approaches (activities\, programmes\, etc.
	) for mental health. This programme of work is divided into eight projects
	: five that explore public mental health in adults\, and three projects wh
	ich explore public mental health in children and young people:\n\n\n\n	Adu
	lt mental health projects\n\n\n\n	\n		Co-located services for working-age 
	adults\n	\n	\n		Community interventions for older adults\n	\n	\n		Economic
	 evaluation of public mental health interventions\n	\n	\n		Using big data 
	to understand public mental health interventions and inequalities\n	\n	\n	
		Public perspectives on inequalities in public mental health\n	\n\n\n\n	Ch
	ildren &amp\; young people mental health projects\n\n\n\n	\n		School cultu
	re and student mental health: a participatory action research study\n	\n	\
	n		Qualitative case study examining the links between school culture and s
	tudent mental health\n	\n	\n		Creating a Health Research Network to improv
	e young people’s mental health and well-being\n	\n	\n		There will be pre
	sentations on all eight projects co-facilitated by academic researchers an
	d peer researchers who have worked together throughout this phase of the p
	rogramme.\n	\n\n\n\n	Afternoon session: 2.00 – 4.30pm\n\n\n\n	The aftern
	oon session will be made up of a series of short presentations showcasing 
	the SPHR public mental health work from:\n\n\n\n	\n		PhD students\n	\n	\n	
		Public Health Practice Evaluation Scheme (PHPES)\n	\n	\n		Pre-doctoral an
	d Post-doctoral Fellows\n	\n	\n		Our Research Network (ResNet) members\n	\
	n\n\n\n	A full programme for the event will be made available soon.\n\n\n\
	n	Inclusion\n\n\n\n	Both the morning and afternoon sessions will include a
	 series of presentations. In the morning session\, you will have the oppor
	tunity to ask questions after the presentations\, in breakout rooms\, and 
	in the chat box on Zoom. Your question will then be read by a moderator an
	d either responded to directly in the chat or read out loud and answered. 
	In the afternoon session\, presenters will be monitoring the chat and usin
	g it to respond directly to any questions.\n\n\n\n	Presentation slides use
	d during the event will be read out loud. This will be through a mixture o
	f live and pre-recorded presentations\, which will also be made available 
	to view on the SPHR website after the event.\n\n\n\n	If there are any acce
