	ny of these deaths are avoidable with timely treatment.\n\n\n\n	The nation
	al Before Arrival at Hospital Project (BeArH)\, funded by the National Ins
	titute for Health Research (NIHR)\, explored what happens to children unde
	r five years of age with serious infections before they are admitted to ho
	spital. The aim of this research was to explore what helps children get he
	lp quickly and what might slow this process down\, so that lessons could b
	e learned for the care of this group of children in the future. \n\n\n\n	
	This forum will be led by Professor Sarah Neill\, Dr Damian Roland and Nat
