DESCRIPTION:\n	Diabetes technology\, in particular real-time continuous 
	glucose monitoring (rt-CGM) devices are revolutionising the management of 
	type 1 diabetes (T1D). The devices provide important advances in blood glu
	cose monitoring technology that address the unmet need for detection of da
	y-to-day glycaemic variability and patient-specific patterns of hyper- and
	 hypoglycaemia.\n\n\n\n	Currently it is estimated that less than 5% of peo
	ple with T1D are using continuous glucose monitoring to manage their diabe
	tes1 and the access to this technology can vary significantly between clin
	ical commissioning groups2 creating vast inequalities in access. Joining t
