DESCRIPTION:\n	Children in England face some of the poorest health outc
omes in Europe\, with widening inequalities and growing concern about th
e long-term impact. This conference will explore the government’s ambiti
on to create the ‘healthiest generation of children in our history’ th
rough its Opportunity and Health missions. What will it take – national
ly\, regionally and locally – to make this vision a reality over the nex
t decade? \n\n\n\n	As children’s health services face increasing deprio
ritisation and underfunding\, this King's Fund event will examine the stru
ctural changes needed to ensure that shifts towards neighbourhood-based\,
digital and preventive care truly deliver for children and young people. R
ecognising children as a distinct population health group\, the event will
highlight the importance of early intervention and integrated services.
\n\n\n\n	Sessions will explore how the forthcoming 10 Year Health Plan m
ust embed prevention to improve childhood health and reduce future syste
m pressures. With clear evidence that the most effective window for interv
ention begins in pregnancy\, this event will move beyond theory to action\
, sharing practical examples of what works. \n\n\n\n	Achieving this visio
n will require collaboration across health\, education\, social care\, jus
tice\, housing and the voluntary sector. Together\, we can ensure every ch
ild grows up healthy\, supported and ready to thrive. \n\n\n\n	Register\n
