DESCRIPTION:\n	Accessing healthcare should never depend on where you liv
e\, the colour of your skin\, or how much you earn\, but for too many peop

for everyone.\n\n\n\n	Whether you’re a patient living in a rural area st
ruggling to get to hospital appointments\, or someone facing discriminatio
n\, inequity in healthcare can have life-altering consequences. Join the P
atients Association to hear from speakers working across communities\, sec
tors\, and systems to challenge what’s always been and push for real cha
nge.\n\n\n\n	Chaired by Rachel Power\, Chief Executive\, who will be joine
	d by:\n\n\n\n	\n Vanessa Wills\, patient advocate\,\n	\n	\n Charles Kwak

s and Involvement\, the Patients Association.\n	\n\n\n\n	The Patients Asso

eport for tackling these disparities: improving shared decision-making\,
increasing access to services in marginalised areas\, investing in workfor
ce training to tackle bias and racism\, and ensuring patients understand t
heir rights and entitlements.\n\n\n\n	If we’re serious about equity\, we
need action not just ambition. This session is a call to listen\, learn\,
