	avid Gilbert. Next cohort June 2025. \n\n\n\n	Patient Leadership signals 
	a breakthrough in healthcare that moves beyond traditional engagement and
	 uncovers the pioneering and transformative work of patient leaders - thos
	e affected by life-changing illness\, injury or disability who want to lea
	d change in the healthcare system. Or ‘those who have been through stuff
	\, who know stuff\, who want to change stuff’. \n\n\n\n	About this prog
	ramme:\n\n\n\n	\n		The programme is designed for both patients and non-pat
	ients to explore together different facets of this emerging social movemen
	t. It is for Patient and Carer Leaders\, health professionals\, managers\
	, non-clinical staff and those from the independent\, voluntary and charit
	able sector. And open to international attendees.\n	\n	\n		This programme 
	lays the foundations for understanding patient leadership. It leads you th
	rough the principles of patient leadership\, what it is and where it came 
	from\, the qualities of an effective patient leader\, support needed and m
	odels of embedded patient leadership. For patients\, users\, carers and st
	aff (clinical\, managerial).\n	\n\n\n\n	The course framework:\n\n\n\n	The 
	four 3-hour sessions (which include a short break) take place on consecuti
	ve Fridays\, between 3:00pm and 6:00pm UK time on 6th June\, 13th June\, 2
	0th June and 27th June. Each session includes scheduled time for breaks fr
