DESCRIPTION:\n	DeNPRU Exeter is a Policy Research Unit in Dementia and N
	eurodegeneration based at the University of Exeter. This webinar will shar
	e learning from DeNPRU Exeter's policy research project on reducing inequa
	lities for minority ethnic communities living with dementia\, Parkinson's 
	disease\, motor neurone disease or Huntington's disease.\n\n\n\n	The Unite
	d Kingdom is composed of diverse range of ethnic and cultural groups. Howe
	ver\, people from minority ethnic communities living with dementia or othe
	r neurodegenerative conditions often face significant inequalities in acce
	ssing healthcare. This can result in delayed diagnoses\, poorer health out
	comes and a reduced quality of life.\n\n\n\n	This project has:\n\n\n\n	\n	
		identified and examined community campaigns aimed at raising awareness an
	d/or reducing stigma around neurodegenerative conditions in minority ethni
	c populations.\n	\n	\n		reviewed existing research on the barriers and fac
	ilitators influencing access to care and support for people from minority 
	ethnic communities.\n	\n	\n		learned from people with lived or professiona
	l experience about raising awareness of neurodegenerative conditions and a
