DESCRIPTION:\n	Endometriosis\, fibroids\, heavy menstrual bleeding and o
ther gynaecological conditions are a huge burden to women across the world
. They cause preventable suffering and impair quality of life. These condi
tions can continue for many years. Women therefore need to understand the
long-term effects of treatments\, and how treatments compare with each oth
er. Despite this\, information is limited. \n\n\n\n	Join this NIHR webina
r to hear much-needed evidence on this topic. The findings will allow clin
icians to discuss the long-term benefits and risks of each treatment with
women\, and help women decide on the treatments that are best for them. Pr
esentations will be followed by a Q&amp\;A session. \n\n\n\n	This 1-hour\
, online webinar will cover:\n\n\n\n	\n How do treatments for heavy perio
ds compare after 10 years?\n	\n	\n Which hormonal treatment best prevents
pain 3 years after endometriosis surgery?\n	\n	\n Which fibroid procedur
	e has better outcomes after 4 years?\n	\n\n\n\n	Presenters include: \n\n\n
\n	\n Jane Daniels\, Professor of Clinical Trials\, University of Notting
	ham \n	\n	\n Justin Clark\, Consultant Gynaecologist\, Birmingham Women's
	 Hospital &amp\; Honorary Professor\, University of Birmingham\n	\n\n\n\n
