DESCRIPTION:\n	This course is aimed at those who lead investigations and
	 other learning responses and those in Patient Safety Incident Response Fr
	amework (PSIRF) oversight roles. It's free of charge and open to all in he
	althcare\, including those outside of the NHS.\n\n\n\n	In this course you 
	will learn about:\n\n\n\n	\n		Complex systems\, systems thinking and human
	 factors.\n	\n	\n		Investigation practices such as interviewing\, capturin
	g work-as-done\, using a systems framework (SEIPS)\, synthesising data and
	 writing reports.\n	\n	\n		Developing effective safety actions and recomme
	ndations.\n	\n	\n		Engaging and involving those affected by patient safety
	 incidents.\n	\n\n\n\n	This is a self-paced\, online course with bitesize 
	modules. On average it takes 20 hours to complete\, over a maximum period 
	of six months. The course is CPD and Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and
	 Human Factors (CIEHF) accredited. Learners are awarded 20 CPD points on c
	ompletion.\n\n\n\n	Enrolment for the September 2024 cohort is open now\, f
	or four weeks only. This means you have from now until 11.59pm on Sunday 2
	9 September to enrol. This ensures that all learners have five to six mont
	hs to complete the course.\n\n
