DESCRIPTION:\n	Patient and staff experience of health and care are often
regarded as two sides of the same coin: separate but inextricably linked.
Sometimes this relationship is seen as a functional one: that we should
“improve one to improve the other”. But human experience is fundament
al to person centred care\, and a recognition that high quality services d
epend on positive personal interactions is vital to meaningful improvement
.  \n\n\n\n	Individuals’ accounts of their experiences are how we unde
rstand the person centredness and the essential humanity of health and car
	e. In this symposium\, we will create a space for all of those working to
understand\, measure\, and improve person centred care to come together to
reflect\, learn\, and be inspired.  \n\n\n\n	This symposium is unlike a
ny other\, in that it focuses on people’s experiences in the round – n
ot just staff experience or patient experience in isolation but also their
experience of the relationships between them. This is for all of the peop
le of health and care – for patients\, for professionals\, and for partn
ers across the system.  \n\n\n\n	Further information\n\n
