SUMMARY:SIM 4 Safety Conference
DTSTAMP:20240123T155707Z
SEQUENCE:0
UID:1417-1-ee2a5ec9cbd1b5a75b4ec5d63ec903ec@www.pslhub.org
ORGANIZER;CN="Patient Safety Learning":noreply@pslhub.org
DESCRIPTION:\n	The conference themes recognise firstly that simulation s
hould show delivery of improvement in service-user experiences and outcome
s\; secondly that recent significant investment in resources should be met
by faculty skilled and motivated to make optimal use of these resources t
o deliver\; and now that safety is a key indicator and desirable outcome.\
n\n\n\n	Sole keynote speaker\, Dr Dawn Benson\, is a sociologist who speci
alises in safety investigation within health\, social care\, and education
currently works as a National Investigator at the Healthcare Safety Inves
tigation Branch (HSIB).\n\n\n\n	The programme replaces passive listening w
	ith conferring\, workshops\, and networking\, establishing collaborations
across our geographically wide South-East community\, we expect to see inn
ovative work in safety\, enhanced approaches to meeting training resource
	demands\, and simply better simulation\, as outcomes.\n\n\n\n	Simulation4S
afety challenges you to not only provide content celebrating your work but
also fruitfully engage with others\, including those you may regard as st
akeholders\, colleagues\, overseers\, and enablers. The overarching aim is
quality\, so whilst we expect to see safety woven into the tapestry of th
e conference\, please do submit work without a safety focus that may form
an illuminating vignette in the complete picture.\n\n\n\n	Registration\n\n
\n\n	Abstracts\n\n\n\n	This is open to all and you may address any topic i
n simulation for health &amp\; care\, you or a representative must be pres
ent at the conference\, we would expect to see at least one presenter regi
stered by 01 April to avoid having your presentation replaced. There will
be a quiet room session to discuss e-posters\, and awards in each category
	. )DEADLINE: EXTENDED TO MIDNIGHT 14th FEBRUARY.\n\n\n\n	Apply\n\n
