DESCRIPTION:\n	This conference focuses on patient involvement and partne
	rship for patient safety including implementing the New National Framework
	 for involving patients in patient safety\, and developing the role of the
	 Patient Safety Partner (PSP) in your organisation or service. The confere
	nce will also cover engagement of patients and families in serious inciden
	ts\, and patient involvement under the Patient Safety Incident Response Fr
	amework published in August 2022. \n\n\n\n	This conference will enable yo
	u to:\n\n\n\n	\n		Network with colleagues who are working to involve patie
	nts in improving patient safety.\n	\n	\n		Reflect on patient perspective.\
	n	\n	\n		Understand the practicalities of recruiting Patient Safety Partne
	rs.\n	\n	\n		Improve the way you recruit\, work with and support Patient S
	afety Partners.\n	\n	\n		Develop your skills in embedding compassion and e
	mpathy into patient partnership.\n	\n	\n		Examine the role of patients und
	er the new Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).\n	\n	\n		Un
	derstand how you can improve patient partnership\, family engagement and i
	nvolvement after serious incidents.\n	\n	\n		Identify key strategies for s
	upport patients\, their families and carers to be directly involved in the
	ir own or their loved one’s safety.\n	\n	\n		Learn from case studies dem
	onstrating patient partnership for patients safety in action.\n	\n	\n		Exa
	mine methods of involving patients to improve patient safety in high risk 
	areas.\n	\n	\n		Self assess and reflect on your own practice.\n	\n	\n		Sup
	ports CPD professional development and acts as revalidation evidence. This
	 course provides 5 Hrs training for CPD subject to peer group approval for
