DESCRIPTION:\n	Virtual wards have the potential to improve patient exper
	ience by enabling them to receive care at home\, and to alleviate workforc
	e pressures by freeing up staff time.\n\n\n\n	However\, there is still a l
	ot of work to be done to improve capacity and use of virtual wards if pati
	ents and staff are to feel the benefits. Additionally\, there are still ex
	tensive variations progress and use of virtual wards - operationally\, dig
	itally and financially - across the NHS and integrated care systems (ICS).
	 With central funding coming to an end\, all parts of the health and care 
	system face practical challenges in making virtual wards a positive option
	 for the future. \n\n\n\n	Against this backdrop\, this panel discussion w
	ill bring together experts to discuss:\n\n\n\n	\n		how to build a model fo
	r sustainable virtual wards that meets the immediate challenges of the hea
	lth and care system\, but also aligns with the NHS vision and aspirations 
	for the future\n	\n	\n		what patients and communities want from virtual wa
	rds and how their voices can shape future services\n	\n	\n		what opportuni
	ties there are for virtual services to enable better integration between p
	artners across the health and care system\, as well as providing better wo
