DESCRIPTION:\n\n	The Patient Safety Congress is the UK’s essential for
	um for everyone involved in improving patient safety. Run by Wilmington He
	althcare\, the focus is on ensuring that attendees leave with practical id
	eas and inspiration to take back to their organisation.\n\n\n\n	Further in
	formation and registration\n\n\n\n	Call for patient advocates\n\n\n\n	The 
	Patient Safety Congress brings together over 1\,000 people\, all with an i
	nterest in helping to transform patient safety. Speakers will include nati
	onal leaders\, policy makers\, frontline innovators and patient advocates.
	 To ensure that every session includes patient representatives sharing th
	eir thoughts and experiences\, the Congress committee is currently looking
	 for patient advocates particularly in areas including:\n\n\n\n		Maternity
	 and neonatal care\n	\n	\n		Patient and family involvement in incident inv
	estigations\n	\n	\n		Diversity and equality in the workforce and its impac
	t on patient care\n	\n	\n		The use of technology in patient care\n	\n	\n		
	Co-production between patients and organisations\n	\n	\n		The impact of st
	aff shortages on patient care\n	\n	\n		Learning from patient feedback and 
	complaints\n	\n	\n		End-of-life/palliative care\n	\n	\n		Sepsis\, AKI and 
	patient deterioration\n	\n	\n		Sexual abuse and human rights breaches in m
	ental health wards\n	\n	\n		Care home safety\n	\n	\n		Medication errors an
