This online workshop will be co-hosted by the General Osteopathic Council and the Collaborating Centre for Values Based Practice, St Catherine's College, Oxford.
It will explore the benefits and importance of shared decision making to both practitioners and patients as well as the challenges in making shared decision making a reality in consultations.
It will also introduce a range of resources co-produced with patients and health practitioners to help patients and clinicians to express what is important to them in a consultation.
