Implementing the NHS Patient Safety Strategy at a local level

This conference will focus on implementing the July 2019 National NHS Patient Safety Strategy in practice at a local level. The conference will also discuss the role of Patient Safety Partners.  

Speakers include Lorraine Schwanberg, Head of Patient Safety and Risk Management, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, covering learning from serious incidents and looking ahead to the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework, and Joe Rafferty, Chief Executive, Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, who will discuss the features of an effective patient safety culture and valuing staff.
