This Engaging and involving those affected by patient safety incidents – exploring different models webinar is part of a practical webinar series from NHS England to support organisations to transition to the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).

Following the PSIRF preparation guide, this webinar focuses on the question from the ‘Discovery and diagnostic’ phase  - ‘How do you engage and involve those effected by patient safety incidents?’

The agenda includes:

  • Update from the national patient safety team.
  • Designing systems and processes to meet the requirements of the ‘engaging and involving patients, families and staff following a patient safety incident’. Challenges and successes from two providers.
