    20 May 2020

A one day event at Bangor University that show-cases the immense opportunity of working with patients to create safer healthcare.
There has never been a time where opportunities have been greater to transform healthcare than today. At the same time the complexity of diseases and treatments is making it more difficult to deliver safe care.
Patient safety experts and affected patients and relatives will initiate conversations how we can make care safer with the power, insights and skills of patients. We will explore challenges to deliver safe care around key topics of co-production, shared risk and enabling technology.

A Weekly series of Clinical Practice Webinars with SAMLondon 2020 Abstract Presentations
    Wednesday 20 May – Wednesday 17 June 2020, 1900-2100
The current COVID-19 pandemic is the greatest public health challenge of our time and has significant implications for acute medicine. The Society for Acute Medicine wants to support the acute medicine community and provide resources that will help you understand and manage this crisis. We plan to do this virtually by launching a weekly series of clinical practice webinars and abstract presentations running for 5 weeks, starting on Wednesday 20 May 2020.
These virtual webinars are open to all members of the multidisciplinary team who work in acute and general medicine. They give us the opportunity to discuss and debate current COVID-19 challenges for acute medicine. They also offer a platform to the authors who successfully submitted abstracts for the postponed SAMLondon conference due to take place in May 2020, enabling them to share their work with colleagues.
