Since 2016, the NHS Leadership Academy London have been offering the opportunity for people from across the capital to engage with their work on Speaking Up, Listening Up, which is delivered for by faculty who are experts in the field. Over 150 people have attended these events.
The SULU programme has also run in both the North West and the South West regions. Additionally, the faculty has reached out to those working to support the Freedom To Speak Up (FTSU) initiative.
It seems like a good time now to take stock of the experiences of all those people in light of their engagement with SULU. To this end, the NHS Leadership Academy are convening a significant event for their programme alumni and those involved in FTSU activity to come together in reflection and discussion.
The focus will be to allow those conversations to take place – and then to build a commitment to find ways in which this vital work can be taken forward, especially considering commitments found in the Interim People Plan.
